Cleaning Up Internet Explorer Files
Deleting Cookie files in Internet Explorer

2. Click Start, click Run, type inetcpl.cpl, and then press ENTER.
3. OR Click Tools menu, and Under that select Internet Options
4. On the General tab, click Delete under Browsing History
5. In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click Delete Cookies.
6. In the Delete Cookies dialog box, click Yes.
This will delete all the cookies on your computer.
Delete all the Temporary Internet Files
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the General tab, click Delete Files, and then click to select the Delete all offline content check box.
4. Click OK.
This will delete all the offline files and temporary internet files stored in your machine. Since all the offline internet explorer cache files are deleted, the websites that you frequently visit (yahoo, google, cnn etc.) will take a little bit longer to load the first time as these pages are cached again. Cleaning the history like outlined above is a good clean-up routine you should go thru once in a month.
